What Is UV Disinfection?
Ultraviolet disinfection uses UV light to neutralize bacteria, viruses and other microorganisms in well water — without adding any chemicals or changing your water’s taste. It is one of the most reliable safeguards for private wells, cottages and rural properties where water quality can change with the seasons.
How UV Systems Work
We install genuine VIQUA UV systems — 360WATER Systems Inc is an authorized VIQUA reseller. Water flows through a stainless-steel chamber past a UV lamp sized to your flow rate, delivering a disinfection dose as it passes. For the lamp to work at full strength the water must be clear, so we pair UV with the right pre-filtration. Lamps are replaced annually to keep protection continuous.
