Water Treatment Services

Every recommendation starts with a proper water analysis, because your water problems are unique and your system should be too.

Water Softeners

Removes the calcium and magnesium that make water hard, ending scale buildup on fixtures, spots on dishes and soap that will not lather. Every system is sized to your water test results and household.

UV Disinfection Systems

Ultraviolet light destroys bacteria and viruses in well water without chemicals and without changing the taste.

Iron Filters

Clears iron, manganese and sulphur from well water: no more orange stains, metallic taste or rotten-egg odour. Chemical-free options that run on air and water pressure.

Tannin Filters

Anion-exchange systems that remove tannins — the decaying organic matter that turns well and lake water yellow or brown and gives it a bitter, earthy taste.

Sulphur Filters

Eliminates hydrogen sulphide, the source of rotten-egg smell in well water, for fresh-smelling water at every tap.

Open-Air Gas Reduction Systems

Dissolved gases like methane, radon and hydrogen sulphide cannot be filtered out — they have to be released from the water. Open-air aeration vents them off while also treating iron, bacteria and odours.

Carbon Filters

Activated carbon filtration reduces chlorine, taste and odour issues in municipal and well water, and protects downstream treatment equipment.

Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water Systems

Under-sink RO systems deliver clean, great-tasting drinking water by reducing dissolved solids, chlorine, taste and odour, without the cost and waste of bottled water.

Commercial & Whole-Home Reverse Osmosis

High-capacity reverse osmosis for whole-house purity or commercial process water, including boiler feed, food and beverage processing, humidification and spot-free rinse.

Water Testing

Free water testing — at our store or in your home. We test hardness, iron, TDS and pH, so every recommendation starts with facts about your water.

Before You Buy: Know Who You're Dealing With

Not every water treatment dealer works the same way. Here is what to watch for when you're comparing quotes.

The franchise store

  • Higher prices — franchise fees and national ad budgets get baked into what you pay.
  • Locked product lines — they can only sell what the franchisor allows, even when something better fits your water.
  • Sales quotas — the “free water test” often doubles as a high-pressure sales call.
  • Dealer-dependent service — if the local franchisee closes or sells, your service and warranty continuity goes with them.
  • Standardized packages — not truly custom-sized systems.

The proprietary-parts dealer

  • Parts lock-in — only that dealer can supply parts, so you're captive on every future repair.
  • Higher parts prices — with zero competition.
  • Stranded if they close — if the dealer shuts down, retires, or drops the line, you're left with unserviceable equipment.
  • No second opinions — independent technicians can't fix what they can't get parts for.
  • Orphaned models — discontinued proprietary lines leave you with equipment nobody can maintain.

The no-storefront seller

  • Nowhere to go back to — when something goes wrong, you're chasing a phone number instead of walking into a store.
  • Nothing to see before you buy — no showroom, no display models, no cutaway valves to compare.
  • No local parts on the shelf — when your system is down, you're waiting on shipped parts.
  • No service department — many sell the box and disappear; installation and after-sales service become your problem.
  • No accountability — a seller with no storefront can vanish overnight, and a warranty is only as good as the business behind it.

The big-box mass-manufactured system

  • Built to a price point — thin materials and budget valves made for shelf appeal, not decades of service.
  • One size fits all — no sizing to your hardness, iron content, or household water use.
  • No water test — you're guessing at what your water needs instead of knowing.
  • You're the installer — no professional installation, setup, or calibration.
  • No local service — when it fails, you're on hold with a call centre or back at the returns desk.
Do I need a twin-tank system for 24/7 soft water? Only if someone in your house showers at 3 AM. A properly sized single-tank softener regenerates in the middle of the night while everyone's asleep — the “hard water window” twin-tank makers warn you about is a problem they've invented to sell the solution. We can build twin-tank systems, but we'll tell you honestly when you don't need one.
Do I need a non-electric softener? A standard electric valve uses about as much electricity as an alarm clock — roughly $5 to $10 a year. Ask yourself what that “saving” is really worth when it's bundled into a system costing thousands more.
What about salt efficiency? The most efficient valves save you maybe 2–3 bags of salt a year — about $20. Worth knowing, not worth paying thousands extra for.

360WATER Systems Inc is independent and family-owned. We build on industry-standard Clack and Pentair valves with widely available parts — call 519-941-9120 for a free quote based on your water test.

Why Choose 360WATER Systems Inc

  • Education first. We do not sell anything to anyone, we educate: your system is matched to your water test results, never a one-size-fits-all box.
  • Custom-sized systems. Built for your water source — private well or chlorinated city/town water — and sized to your hardness, iron content, water use and budget, then professionally installed.
  • Service after the sale. We service and repair most makes and models, and stock parts, filters and UV lamps locally.
  • Independent — not a franchise. No franchise fees hidden in our prices, no head-office product mandates, no sales quotas. We recommend what your water actually needs.
  • No proprietary parts lock-in. We build on industry-standard Clack and Pentair valves with widely available parts — never proprietary components that leave you captive to a single dealer for service and repairs.
  • See it in person. Visit our Orangeville showroom with over 20 water softener systems on display, including cutaway valves so you can compare before you buy.
Flexible payment: ask about 12 months interest-free financing — arranged directly with us, no third-party finance company involved. Every quote is free and based on your water test.

Common Water Questions

How do I know what size water softener I need?

The right size depends on your water’s hardness and iron content, the size of your home or business, and the number of people using the water. Bring us a sample and we will test it for hardness and iron free of charge, then size and recommend the right system at no cost to you.

Can I install a water softener myself?

If you are replacing an existing softener, or your home is roughed-in (plumbing already set up) for one, and you are comfortable with basic plumbing, you can. Every installation is different, so for new plumbing runs we recommend professional installation — most installs take about two hours, and we schedule them within 5 business days.

How quickly can you install my system?

We schedule installations within 5 business days of your order. Most residential installations take about two hours to complete.

Will a water softener remove iron from my well water?

A water softener removes up to 5 ppm of ferrous (clear-water) iron, which covers most wells. Because every well is different, we start with a free water analysis; higher iron levels or other water conditions may call for a dedicated iron filtration system, which can always be added later.

What is hard water and how do I know if I have it?

Hard water contains more than 1 grain per gallon of dissolved minerals, mainly calcium and magnesium. Common signs are scale buildup on fixtures and inside appliances, spots on dishes and glassware, soap that will not lather, and dry skin and hair. We test for hardness free of charge.

How much do your systems cost?

Drinking water systems start at $795 installed, and water softeners start at $1,595 installed. Every quote is free and based on your water test — call 519-941-9120 for yours.

Do you offer financing?

Yes. We offer 12 months interest-free financing, arranged directly with us — no third-party finance company involved. Ask us for details when you get your free quote.

Do salt-free or magnetic water softeners really work?

No salt-free system produces truly soft water — the calcium and magnesium ions remain, so at best these are anti-scale systems. Magnetic conditioners do not remove anything from the water. Ion-exchange water softeners remain the proven method for actually removing hardness.
